Current storage

The application itself does not set cookies. It uses localStorage for the language preference and Cache Storage for offline application files and selected dictionaries. These are browser storage technologies, even though they are not cookies.

What is stored

word-language stores a language code such as en or tr. Service worker caches contain static pages, scripts and dictionary files. Searches are not recorded in these caches.

Manage storage

Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove stored preferences and cached files. Clearing them means you may need to download dictionaries again before searching offline.

Future services

Advertising and analytics are not enabled. Before optional services are introduced, this page must describe their actual storage and data use, and appropriate consent controls must be implemented where required. No consent banner is included for advertising that is not running.
